Carrie Dow is an award-winning freelance travel journalist and senior writer at Artisan Spirit Magazine. My work has appeared in 5280, Distiller, Our State, Matador Network, Go World Travel, Colorado Parent, AAA Carolinas, and IntervalWorld. I was the Local Editor of DrinkDenver, part of The Drink Nation, from 2012 to 2019 where I sampled Denver’s best happy hours (Not a bad gig, right?). A member of the North American Travel Journalists Association (NATJA), The International Food, Wine & Travel Writers Association (IFWTWA), Outdoor Writers Association of America, and Investigative Reporters and Editors (IRE), I am also the founder of What's Pawsitive where I write about animal welfare organizations around the world.
